HOLLISTER - Funeral services for Mr. Charles Edward Pernell, 75, who died Wednesday, May 31, 2006, will be at noon Monday, June 5, at Faith Baptist Church, with the Rev. Linwood Richardson officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Surviving: wife, Dorothy Mae Pernell; daughters, Pamela Coles of Philadelphia, Pa., Brenda Lee and Joyce Richardson, both of Laurel, Md., Cynthia Davis of Hollister, Polly Everett of Suffolk, Va.; sons, Charles E. Pernell Jr. of Sandy Springs, Ga., Phillip Pernell and Wayne Pernell, both of Silver Spring, Md., Adrien Pernell of Atlanta, Ga., Eric Pernell of Washington, D.C., Warren Pernell of Fairburn, Ga., Marvin Richardson and Garry Richardson, both of Enfield, and Tony Richardson of Rocky Mount; sisters, Hershey Lilly of Tacoma Park, Md., and Connie Scurlock of Manassas, Va.; brothers, Lawrence Pernell and Freddie Pernell, both of Upper Marlboro, Md., and Lloyd Pernell of Riverdale, Ga.; a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren, severalfrom Louisburg.

Open visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m. Sunday, June 4, at Richardson Funeral Home in Louisburg.
