ROBERT B. SPROW (August 19, 1923 – April 20, 2008)
LOUISBURG - Robert Bradley Sprow, 84, passed away Sunday, April 20, 2008 in Sanford, FL.

He was born to Emma and Harry Sprow on August 19, 1923 in Baltimore, Maryland. He retired from Western Electric in Atlanta, GA as an Engineer with 42 years of service where two patents are held in his name. Bob is a veteran of WWII; married Rudi in 1951 in Baltimore; graduated from Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore; relocated his family to Atlanta, GA in 1970; and retired with Rudi to Zebulon in 1984.

Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Thursday at New Hope Christian Church with the Rev. Steve Barham officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.

Bob is survived by his loving wife Rudi of 56 years; devoted daughters, Beth Everett with husband Michael Everett and Nancy Manning with husband Zac Manning, Jr.; three granddaughters who adored him, Sara, Emily, and Elizabeth Manning; and his caring siblings, brother Harry P. Sprow and sister Louise Sprow McClelland.

Arrangements are by Strickland Funeral Home, Louisburg.
