LINVILLE S. EVANS
April 10, 1951 – June 8, 2008
LOUISBURG – Linville Stewart Evans, 57, of Louisburg, died Sunday morning.

Linville was preceded in death by his father, Everette Evans. His grandchildren were the love of his life and called him Go-Daddy.

A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday in the chapel of Strickland Funeral Home with the Rev. Butch Gordon officiating.

Linville is survived by his wife, Beverley C. Evans; daughters, Stephanie E. Ross and Tabitha E. Murphy, all of Louisburg; mother, Christine G. Evans; sister, Delores Evans; brothers, Sherwood D. Evans and Lewis R. Evans, all of Louisburg, and Phillip S. Evans of Memphis, TN; grandchildren, Heather N. Ross and Bryson S. Murphy.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to North Carolina Wildlife Resources Commission, 1717 Mail Service Center, Raleigh, NC 27699.

The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
