K. BLAKE GRIFFIN, JR.
November 19, 1962 – June 18, 2008
LOUISBURG – Kermit Blake Griffin, Jr., 45, of the White Level Community, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday surrounded by his family.

Blake was a son of the late Kermit and Frances Tant Griffin, Sr. and was preceded in death by his sister, Tammy West, and his brother, Rayvon Griffin.

Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Saturday at White Level Community Holiness Church, with the Rev. Jimmy Carpenter officiating. Burial will follow in Lancaster Memorial Park.

Blake is survived by his wife of 22 years, Linda S. Griffin; daughters and son-in-law, Connie G. and Josh Marks of Castalia, Ashley Griffin and Sarah Griffin, both of Louisburg; sisters, Faye Combs and Delores Stewart, both of Winter Haven, FL; stepmother, Joyce Griffin of Raeford; mother-in-law, Janet Stallings of Louisburg; grandchildren, Victoria and Riley Ayscue.

Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to White Level Community Holiness Church, c/o Lorrie Griffin, 30 Coinjock Tr., Louisburg, NC 27549 or Community Home Care Hospice, 928 N. Main St., Louisburg, NC 27549.

The family received friends 7 – 8:30 p.m. Friday at Strickland Funeral Home, 103 W. Franklin St., Louisburg.
