ALICE H. LEE
FRANKLINTON - Alice Parham Hedrick Lee, 81, died Sunday, June 11, 2006 in a Louisburg nursing facility. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. today (Wednesday, June 14) at Franklinton Baptist Church, with the Rev. Wayne Rigney and the Rev. David Averette officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery.

Born in Vance County, she was the daughter of John Howard Parham and Nettie Thompson Parham. She worked in retail sales. Mrs. Lee was preceded in death by her husbands, Frank Tounsen Hedrick Jr. and Everette Lee.

Surviving: daughters, Phoebe Huffman of Orlando, Fla., and Patricia Peace of Spring Hope; sons, Ty Hedrick Sr. of Franklinton and Gary Thompson Hedrick Sr. of Wake Forest; sisters, Joyce Davis of Courtland, Va., and Darrine Bennett of Raleigh; brothers, Jake Parham of Franklinton and Bobby Parham Sr. of Del Ray Beach, Fla.; 18 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.
