THE REV. BENNIE A. MACK SR.
HILLSBOROUGH - The Rev. Bennie Austin Mack Sr., 79, died Wednesday, Sept. 3, 2008. The funeral was at 3 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 7, at Piney Grove Baptist Church. Burial was in Church Cemetery.

Rev. Mack graduated from Little River High School in Durham. He is a recipient of a bachelor of theology and a master of divinity. He was a former pastor at First Baptist Church in Louisburg.

Surviving: his wife Rosa Mack; two daughters, Sherrial Mack Johnson and Sharon Furges; one son, Bennie Mack Jr.; one brother; James Roy Mack; two sisters, Vera M. Hughes and Zola M. Barnes.
