LLOYD M. BURKE
RALEIGH - Lloyd Milford Burke, 92, died Sunday, Oct. 12, 2008 in his Raleigh home. A graveside service was conducted at Carolina Memorial Gardens in Creedmoor.

He was born in Esplie, N.M. He served in the U.S. Navy during WW II. He was an industrial engineer and worked for Square D Company for 38 years.

Surviving: his wife, Margaret Burke of Raleigh; sister, Dottie Lemke of Marion, Wisc.; daughter, Lynn Tuttle of Franklinton; son, James Burke of Wake Forest; three grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sisters, Val Stark and Judy Schultz, both of Wisconsin Rapids, Wisc.; brother, Roy Burke of Phoenix, Ariz.

Arrangements by Eakes Funeral Home in Creedmoor.
