SWANNIE S. FREEMAN
ZEBULON - Swannie Solomon Freeman, 97, died Friday, June 23, 2006 at Guardian Care in Zebulon. Funeral services were conducted Monday, June 26, at Zebulon Baptist Church. Burial followed in Historical Oakwood Cemetery in Raleigh.

She was born in Wake County, the daughter of the late James David Perry and Letha Susan Ray Perry. Mrs. Freeman was a retired sales clerk with Hudson-Belk with 28 years of service. She was preceded in death by her husbands, John Solomon and Malcolm Freeman.

Surviving: sister, Iola Price of Durham; a number of grandchildren and great grandchildren; and one great-great grandson.

Flowers accepted or memorials may be made to the Zebulon Baptist Church Building Fund, P. O. Box 366, Zebulon, NC 27597.

Arrangements handled by Strickland Funeral Home, Wendell.
