SANDRA G. TOMLIN
CHINA GROVE - Sandra G. Tomlin, 65, died Tuesday, Dec. 30, 2008. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. today (Saturday, Jan. 3) at First Freewill Baptist Church, 405 N. Bostian St., China Grove, conducted by the Rev. Ted Davis and the Rev. Jeff Upright.

The body will be placed in the church 30 minutes prior to service time. Interment will follow in West Lawn Memorial Park, China Grove.

She was born in China Grove to the late Robert and Katherine Bass Garmon. She worked for more than 22 years at Gary’s Barbeque.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brother, Don Garmon.

Surviving: her children, Annette Cordes of Stedman, Barbara Yon (Jackie) of China Grove, Lloyd Tomlin Jr. of Franklinton, and John (Vicky) Tomlin of Cheriton, Va.; brothers, Gerald Garmon (Carolyn) of Kannapolis, David Garmon (Linda) of China Grove, and her twin sister, Linda Powers (Bill) of Rockwell; eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
