FRANKLINTON - Bill Lowery, 87, died Wednesday, Feb. 11, 2009 at Duke Raleigh Hospital. Graveside services will be conducted at 2 p.m. today (Saturday, Feb. 14) in Fairview Cemetery, with the Rev. Gary Vassar presiding.
Prior to his retirement, he was employed in the automotive industry for many years. He was a member of South Main Baptist Chapel in Wake Forest.
Surviving: daughter, Lisa Harris (Stacy) of Franklinton; sons, Tim Means of Youngsville and Ken Means (Bonnie) of Kalispell, Mon.; and four grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Jeanette Beard Lowery.
Friends may visit prior to the service on Saturday from 12:30-1:45 p.m. at Hall-Wynne Funeral Service (formerly Franklin Funeral Service), 504 E. Mason St., Franklinton.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to South Main Baptist Chapel, 104 Lakeside Ave., Louisburg, NC 27549.
