LOUISBURG - Funeral services for Richard Alston, 66, who died Saturday, Feb. 28, 2009, will be conducted at 2 p.m. today (Wednesday, March 4) at St. Stephen Baptist Church, with the Rev. Junious Debnam officiating.

Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Surviving: wife, Mary H. Alston of the home; sons, Donnie Alston and Derrick Alston, both of Louisburg; sisters, Mattie Alston Stokes of Louisburg and Sandy Fields of Henderson; brothers, Stan Alston Jr. of Norfolk, Va., Monroe Alston, Laverne Alston and Randy Alston, all of Henderson; and three grandchildren.
