LOUISBURG - Bennett Crad “Man” Brantley, 66, died Saturday afternoon, Feb. 28, 2009. A memorial service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday, March 6, in the chapel of Strickland Funeral Home in Louisburg, with the Rev. Shane Brantley officiating. He was the son of the late Clifton Bennett and Edna Pearce Brantley and was preceded in death by his sister, Brenda Williford.

Surviving: wife, Janet Brantley; daughter, Donna B. Yow (fiancé Bobby Lee Marshall) of Louisburg; son, Charles Brantley (Sharon) of Rolesville; sister, Barbara Pratt of Wilmington; and five grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the charity of your choice.

The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
