LOUISBURG - James J. Hirsh died Wednesday, March 4, 2009. Graveside services were conducted Sunday, March 15, at Maple Springs Baptist Church cemetery, Louisburg.

He retired years earlier from the NC Department of Correction.

Surviving: wife, Gwen, and daughter, Ashlyn.

He was predeceased by his parents, Richard and Ruth Hirsh of Bradenton, Fla.
