YOUNGSVILLE - Evelyn D. Wiggins died Thursday, July 20, 2006 at Rex Hospital. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. today (Saturday, July 22) at Oak Level Christian Church, with the Rev. Richard Myers and the Rev. David Haley officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

She was a native of Franklin County, the daughter of the late Nellie Bobbitt Dickerson and Barnum Dickerson. She was employed for many years by Dr. Nash Underwood.

Mrs. Wiggins was preceded in death by her husband, George Dewey Wiggins, and a sister, Eula D. Tunstall.

Surviving: a son, Phil Wiggins (Debra) of Garner; brother, Millard Dickerson of Youngsville; three granddaughters; and one great grandchild.
