LOUISBURG - Audrey House Joyner, 72, of Louisburg, passed away Friday morning surrounded by her loving family.

Mrs. Joyner was a daughter of the late Johnny Forrest and Pearl Bartholomew House. She was preceded in death by her sister, Ann H. Allen and was a member of Sandy Creek Baptist Church.

Funeral service will be 3 p.m. Sunday in the chapel of Strickland Funeral Home with Rev. Joel Story officiating. Entombment will follow at Lancaster Memorial Park.

Mrs. Joyner is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, Mack C. Joyner; daughters, Vicki J. Pearce of Raleigh; Carla J. Baker and husband Todd of Wake Forest; brother in-law, Jim Allen of Rocky Mt.; granddaughter, Amy Wood; great granddaughters, McKayla and Madeline Wood.

Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Sandy Creek Baptist Church, P.O. Box 60, Louisburg, NC 27549.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
