RALEIGH - Evelyn Wilder Lamb, 74, died Friday, May 22, 2009 at Wake Med. To honor Evelyn’s wishes, she will be cremated and no service will be held at this time.

She was born in Franklin County to the late Almon Avery Wilder and Mattie Debnam Wilder. She retired from N.C. State University as an accounting technician with 34 years of service.

Surviving: sister, Elizabeth Fennig of Portland, Ind.; and one sister-in-law.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George Crawford Lamb, a sister and a brother.
