LOUISBURG - Norman N. “Nick” Nicholson, 81, died Monday, June 1, 2009. Graveside services were conducted Friday, June 5, at Old Wood Baptist Church cemetery.

He was born in Edinburg, Va., the son of the late Annie Mae Spitzler Nicholson and Boyd Conn Nicholson.

Surviving: wife, Beverly Durbin Nicholson; daughters, Nicole Duncan (Ronnie) of Centerville and Susan Ketchum of Gilroy, Calif.; son, Michael Nicholson of Greensboro; and 11 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by one sister and three brothers.
