HENDERSON - John Henry Foster, 57, died Friday, June 5, 2009 at UNC Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. today (Wednesday, June 10) at Mitchell Baptist Church, with the Rev. Dr. Daniel Lilly and the Rev. Dr. Jeanette B. Floyd officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

He was born in Franklin County, the son of the late Ethon and Martha Foster. He was a 1972 graduate of Epsom High School and also attended Vance-Granville Community College where he received a certificate in automotive mechanics. For 27 years, he worked at J. P. Taylor. He also worked at Lowes Home Improvement warehouse and was currently employed at Revlon.

Surviving: wife, Diane Branch Foster; sisters, Mary Alice Foster of the home, Gladys Foster-Young of Henderson, and Bernice Marie Foster of Kittrell.
