KNIGHTDALE - Cynthia Michelle Vaughan Goswick, 38, died Monday, July 27, 2009 at her home. Funeral services were conducted Thursday, July 30, at Perry’s Chapel Baptist Church, Franklinton, with the Rev. Clyde Waiden officiating. Burial followed in the church cemetery.

Born in Vance County, she was the daughter of Jan Lockemy Sprantley of Chase City, Va., and Donald Lee and Patricia M. Vaughan of Henderson. She was the widow of Joey Goswick.

She was a former secretary with the Wake County Schools and was a member of Perry’s Chapel Baptist Church, Franklinton.

Surviving, in addition to her parents, are a sister, Stephanie Vaughan of Henderson; brother, Ashley Page Vaughan of South Hill, Va.; paternal grandparents, Ernest L. and Daverine L. Vaughan of Henderson.
