HOLLISTER - Funeral services for Haszel “Sputer” Mills, 69, who died Friday, Aug. 21, 2009, were conducted Monday, Aug. 24, at Pine Chapel Baptist Church, with the Rev. James Rudd officiating. Burial followed in the Mills family cemetery.

Surviving: daughters, Sherry Richardson of Virginia Beach, Va., Darlene M. Williams of Warrenton, and Michelle M. Hedgepeth of Littleton; sons, Haszel Mills Jr. and Cory Mills, both of Hollister; brothers, Merzie Mills of Hollister and Quinton Mills of N. Augusta, S.C.; 11 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
