WAKE FOREST - Douglas Carl Steinway, 60, died Saturday, Sept. 19.

He was born in Appleton, Wis., the son of Joyce Steinway and the late Richard Melvin Steinway. He was a security guard with Security Forces, Inc.

Funeral service was Thursday, Sept. 24 at 2 p.m. in the Chapel of Bright Funeral Home with Rev. Gary McNair officiating. Burial will be in the Salisbury National Cemetery at a later date.

Surviving: wife, Cynthia Steinway; mother, Joyce Steinway of Appleton, Wis.; brother, Rick Steinway (Martha) of Neenah, Wis.
