LOUISBURG - Gordon Hugh Thomas, 64, died Thursday, Aug, 10, 2006 in Rex Hospital. A memorial service will be conducted at 2 p.m. today (Saturday, Aug. 12) in the chapel of Lancaster Funerals and Cremations, Louisburg.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Maxine Thomas.

Surviving: wife, Trudy J. Thomas; daughters, Leigh Stott (Jeff) of Centerville and Christy Thornton (Barry) of Garner; son, Greg Thomas of Garner; sister, Mary Melvin of Louisburg; and three grandchildren.

The family will receive friends at the home of Leigh and Jeff Stott, 6037 NC Hwy. 561, Louisburg.
