LAKE ROYALE - Robert W. Benton, 75, owner and operator of Lake Royale ERC died Wednesday, December 2, 2009 at his home.  The memorial service was conducted Friday, Dec. 4, from the chapel of Lancaster Funeral and Cremation Services.

Surviving: wife, Lillian A. Benton; son, Scott R. Benton (Cindy) of Lake Royale; and four grandchildren.

The flag in front of the funeral home flies at half-staff in honor of Mr. Benton’s service to his country in the US Marine Corps.
