LOUISBURG - John Ezio Quartuccio, 88, died Friday, March 17, 2006. A Requiem Mass was held Tuesday, March 21, in the chapel of Bright Funeral Home, Wake Forest. Entombment follow- ed in Raleigh Memorial Park.

He was born in Anzio, Italy, the son of the late Caroline Sais Quartuccio and Ezio Quartuccio and was married to the late Amelia Nardi. Mr. Quartuccio was the owner and operator of the Quartuccio Family Restaurant in New York, which has been open for 85 years.

Surviving: daughters, Caroline Pizzuto of New York and Rose Cloer (Phil) of Louisburg; son, John Quartuccio (Frankie) of Pennsylvania; nine grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
