LOUISBURG – Claire Britt Dunn, 59, of 977 Ransdell Rd., died Friday evening at her home.
Claire was a daughter of the late Edwin Holmes and Frances Elizabeth Owens Britt. She was employed by Maxim Healthcare in Louisburg and worked in the homecare field in Franklin County for over 15 years.
Memorial service will be 7 pm Thursday in the chapel of Strickland Funeral Home.
Claire is survived by her husband of 37 years, William L. Dunn; daughter and son-in-law, Sara E. “Beth” and husband David Joyner of Louisburg; son and daughter-in-law, W. Lee Dunn and wife Lydia of Raleigh; sister and brother-in-law, Frances and husband Frank Chappell, Jr. of Raleigh; several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Hospice of Wake County, 1300 St. Mary’s St. Raleigh, NC 27605.
The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
