LOUISBURG – Margaret Christine Bartley, 80, died Tuesday, March 23, 2010. A funeral service was conducted Friday, March 26, by Father Scott McCue in the chapel of Strickland Funeral Home in Louisburg.

She was a daughter of the late Walter and Ruth Zornes from Williams Mountain, W. Va.

She was preceded in death by her sisters, Imogene Bradley and Thelma Holstein, and a brother, John Zornes, all from Williams Mountain, W. Va.

Surviving: husband, James W. “Jim” Bartley of  Louisburg; daughter, Janie L. Baker; sons, Shelby L. Bowles, Larry D. Bowles, Barry G. Bowles, William W. Bartley and James L. Bartley; sisters, Betty Conklin of Louisburg and Patsy White from Shelby; brothers,  David  and Paul Zornes from Williams Mountain, W. Va.; 10 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
