WENDELL - Lilly Flood Carlyle of Robinwood died Tuesday, April 6, 2010. Funeral services were held Friday, April 9, at Pilot Baptist Church. Burial followed in the Bunn Alford Upchurch cemetery.

A native of Franklin County, she was daughter to the late Barry F. and Lucy Bunn Flood. She worked at Fortex for many years.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William Earl “Buddy” Carlyle, and a granddaughter.

Surviving: son, William “Billy” Carlyle Jr. (Janet) of Zebulon and Barbara Debnam (fiancé Randy) of Zebulon; three grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. Flowers or memorials may be made to Hospice of Wake County.
