CARY - Lena B. Williams, 83, died Sunday, April 18, 2010. Funeral services will be conducted Monday, April 26, at noon at Olive Branch Baptist Church in Wake Forest. Burial will follow in the Wake Forest Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. to noon Monday at the church.

She was born in Franklin County to the late Robert and Zetter Deans Bowden and was married to the late Woodrow W. Williams. She was employed with Wake County Public Schools and later was the owner and operator of LB’s Connection in Wake Forest.

Surviving: daughter, Virginia W. Barnett (Wallace) of Cary; sisters, Cornell Wilson of Raleigh, Susie Davis of Louisburg and Ester Rogers of Bunn; brother, Robert Bowden Jr. of Austin, Tx.; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
