ZEBULON - Billy Wayne Cooper, 59, died Wednesday, Sept. 6, 2006. Graveside services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday, Sept. 11, at Pine Ridge Baptist Church cemetery.

He was preceded in death by his father, Billy Hillard Cooper, and was a Vietnam Army veteran.

Surviving: his mother, Lorena “Dinkey” Powell of Zebulon; brother, Jack D. Cooper of Redford, Mich.; and wife, Ethel A. Cooper of Godwin.

The family will receive friends from 5-6 p.m. Sunday at Strickland Funeral Home, 103 W. Franklin Street, Louisburg, and other times at the home of Lorena “Dinkey” Powell, 1156 Pine Ridge Road, Zebulon.
