RALEIGH - Malcolm Edward “Mickey” Dobbins, 83, died Sunday, May 16, 2010. Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, May 20, at Brown-Wynne Funeral Home, 1701 E. Millbrook Road, Raleigh. Burial will immediately follow the service at Raleigh Memorial Park.

He was born in Winston-Salem to the late Porter and Coretta Dobbins. He worked for Emerson Electric and W.W. Grainger.

Surviving: sons, Tommy (Judy) of Wake Forest and Charles (Mary) of Gotha, Fla.; daughters, Beth Kennedy (Michael) of Youngsville and Susan Dobbins of Raleigh; and two grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Ann.

The family will receive friends and family from 7 to 9 tonight (Wednesday, May 19) at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Wake County.
