LOUISBURG - Edith Dennis Gilliam, 90, died Tuesday, May 18, 2010 at Hillside Nursing Center.  Cryptside services were held Friday, May 21, at Lancaster Memorial Park Mausoleum. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd Gilliam; sister, Eileen Perdue; and brother, Joe Dennis. 

Surviving: her daughters, Betty G. Harper of Youngsville and Joyce G. Merritt of Louisburg; son, Dennis Gilliam (Arnola) of Louisburg; sister, Faye Clarke of Hobbsville; nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Flowers accepted or contributions may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
