LOUISBURG – Margaret Perry Valentine, 84, died Thursday night, June 24, 2010. A memorial service will be 2 p.m. Sunday in the chapel of Strickland Funeral Home in Louisburg, with the Rev. Brent Farrar officiating.

The family will receive friends immediately following the service and other times at the home of Donald and Deborah Valentine, 829 Duke Valentine Wynne Rd., Louisburg.

She was the daughter of the late Charlie B. and Annie Moore Powell Perry. She was preceded in death by her husband, J.W. “Buck” Valentine; brothers, Donald Perry, C.B. Perry and Joe Perry.

Surviving: sons, Donald G. Valentine (Deborah), John C. Valentine and friend, Cynthia Bryant; daughter, Annie V. Wynne (Tommy), all of Louisburg; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.
