LOUISBURG - Funeral services for James Clinton Boone, Sr., 80, who died Thursday, July 1, 2010, will be Thursday, July 8, at 2 p.m. at Rocky Chapel Missionary Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with the Rev. Rory Sneed officiating.

Surviving: wife, Margaret Boone of the home; daughters, Lisa “Lady Bird” Kennerly of Washington, D.C.; sons, James Clinton Boone, Jr. of the home, Gregory L. Boone of Bowie Md.; sisters, Cather Mae Lewis of Jamaica Queens, N.Y., Adell Wilson of Enfield; Joe Louis Boone, Sr., of Lanham, Md.; three grandchildren.

Open visitation will be Wednesday, July 7, from 3 - 8 p.m. at Richardson Funeral Home in Louisburg.
