RALEIGH - Richard K. Henson, 73, died Wednesday, June 30, 2010 at Rex UNC Health Care in Raleigh. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. today (Wednesday, July 7) at Alston-Anderson Funeral Home Chapel, Louisburg. Burial will follow in the Cemetery on the Hill in Louisburg.

Surviving: wife, Carmella Henson of Raleigh; daughters, Kim Henson Fields of Pittsboro; stepdaughter, Jennifer Lee Cumbenhatch of Beacon, N.Y.; sons, Richard Leon Henson of Jacksonville, Fla.; sister, Mary Lou Billups of New York, N.Y.; and six grandchildren.
