LOUISBURG – Lee B. Murphy, 80, of the White Level Community, died Wednesday afternoon, July 21, 2010. Funeral service will be 2 p.m. today (Saturday, July 24) at White Level Baptist Church, with the Rev. Henry Stamper officiating. Burial will follow in the Frazier family cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the funeral.

He was a son of the late Solomon Buck and Lena Wood Murphy and was preceded in death by his brothers, Charlie Lee Murphy and J.B. Murphy. He served in the U.S. Army and was a Korean War veteran.

Surviving: sister, Bettie Mae Frazier of Louisburg; a niece, nephew, and great-nephew.

Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to White Level Baptist Church, Building Fund, 2400 White Level Rd., Louisburg, NC 27549.
