WICHITA, KS - Carole Childers, 76, homemaker,  died Monday, July 26, 2010. Paul and Carole lived in Franklin County (Centerville) in the 1950’s.  Visitation will be Friday, July 30, from 6:30-8 p.m. followed by a service Saturday, July 31, at 10 a.m., both at Resthaven Mortuary.

She was preceded in death by parents Charles and Eva Smith; two brothers, Charles H. Smith, Jr. and Robert W. Smith; and a sister, Susan A. Ehrhardt. 

She is survived by husband, William “Paul” Childers, Jr of Wichita; son, William Paul “Bill” (Robin) of Lee’s Summit, Mo.; daughter, Jeri Lynne Childers (Jack McMahon) of Christiansburg, Va.; and three grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Good Shepherd Episcopal Church, 8021 W. 21st St., Wichita, KS 67205.
