SPRING HOPE - Elizabeth Cooper, 80, died Saturday, Aug. 7, 2010. Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. today (Wednesday, Aug. 11) at Pilot Baptist Church. Burial will be in the Cooper family cemetery.

Surviving: children, Doris M. Leaston (John) of Cary, Rosa M. Cooper, Mary Cooper, Maebelle Cooper and Vernis Cooper Jr. (Jocelyn) of Spring Hope, Deliah Cooper of Louisburg, Beatrice F. Neal (Major) of Wadesboro, Rosene Cooper and Catherine Cooper of Bunn, Ethel Sutton (Johnny) of Zebulon, and Carolyn Cooper of Wilson; sister, Emma Holiday of Stem; 16 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.
