RALEIGH - Norman Exum Conyers, 83, died Monday, Aug. 16, 2010. A graveside service will be held at 11:30 a.m. today (Wednesday, Aug. 18) at Montlawn Memorial Park.

He was born in Franklin County and made his home in Raleigh after his honorable discharge from the U.S. Navy. He was retired from the Raleigh Fire Department and the former N.C.N.B.

Surviving: son, Jeff (Pam); and one granddaughter.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia, and son, Norman.
