HOLY SPRINGS - John Owen Truelove, 73, died at home on Tuesday, Aug. 17, 2010. The family will receive friends from 12 to 2 p.m. today (Saturday, Aug. 21) at Macedonia Baptist Church, Holly Springs. A funeral service will be at 2 p.m., conducted by the Rev. Danny Jarmon and the Rev. Ken Wheeler. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

He was born in Wake County to John O. Truelove and Mary Weathers Truelove.

Surviving: wife, Nancy Jordan Truelove; son, Dale Truelove (Jennifer) of Louisburg; daughter, Michelle T. Miller (Tony) of Holly Springs; sister, Jacqueline Griffin of Raleigh; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
