RALEIGH - Roberta Walker Jeffries died Thursday, Aug. 19, 2010. Funeral services were held Thursday, Aug. 26, at Lea Funeral Home. Interment followed at the Baptist Grove Church cemetery.

Surviving: daughters, Karen J. Hester (Michael) and Cassandra J. Adebimpe, all of Raleigh; son, Marvin Jeffries of Raleigh; mother, Parthenia L. Walker of Raleigh; brother, Zead Walker (Daphene) of Bunn; sisters, Rebecca Powell (James) of Washington, D.C., Brenda Hicks, Pauline Jones (Abraham), Lucille Grady and Doris Brodie (Donald), all of Raleigh; three grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
