ZEBULON - Henry Franklin Edgerton, 87, died Sunday, Sept. 19, 2010. Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. today (Wednesday, Sept. 22) at Strickland Funeral Home in Wendell, with burial to follow in Bunn Memorial Gardens.

He worked for Austin. He was preceded in death by a son, Gary, and siblings, Carlton, Muriel, Barney and Bobby.

Surviving: wife, Mary Pearce Edgerton of the home; children, Carolyn Martinez (Gilbert) of Zebulon, Douglas Tant (Laurie) of Zebulon, Michael Tant of the home, and Sandra Juarez (Keegin Woods) of Bunn; sisters, Emaline of Goldsboro and LaRue of Lillington; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials to Mary Edgerton, P.O. Box 483, Zebulon, NC 27597.
