FRANKLINTON - Timothy Joe Leonard, 58, died Sept. 19, 2010. He was born in Wake County to the late Douglas Nelson and Lena Mae Dickerson Leonard.

He ran Leonard’s Men Shop with his father and brother for 11 years and worked for  Farm  Bureau Insurance for 23 years.

Surviving: children, Gail Lindsey, Kevin Lindsey (Amy) Laurie Lindsey, Casey Butner (Dexter), Elizabeth Leonard, all of Winston Salem; brother, Steve Leonard (Mary) of Raleigh; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; former wife, Vicki Leonard of Winston Salem.

Funeral services were at 2 p.m. Friday, Sept. 24 at Hall-Wynne Funeral Service, Franklinton Chapel, with Rev. Clyde Waiden officiating. Burial followed in Fairview Cemetery.
