CARY - Donald Sidney Murphy, 68, died unexpectedly Wednesday, Oct. 6, 2010. A funeral service was held at 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 8, at Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Louisburg. Burial followed in at 3 p.m. Friday at Wake Memorial Park in Cary.

He was born to Sidney and Corine (Smith) Murphy in Franklin County.

Surviving: wife, Margaret Murphy of Cary; mother, Corine Murphy of Louisburg; son, Christopher Murphy (Jennifer) of Apex; twin brother, Ronald Murphy of Louisburg; sisters, Judy Harp of Shelby and Betty Jean Adams of Louisburg; and one grandson.
