ZEBULON - Edith Harper Huber, 81, died Sunday, Oct. 3, 2010. A graveside service was held Thursday, Oct. 7, at the Zebulon Town Cemetery.

She was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Christopher Harper and Willie Elizabeth Honeycutt Harper. She graduated from Greensboro High School, Pfeiffer Jr. College and High Point University. She taught high school for more than 23 years.

Surviving: daughter, Cindy Phllips (Todd); son, Richard Thomas Huber of Tampa, Fla.; brother, Richard Harper of Houston, Tex.; and two grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Leukemia Society, 401 Harrison Oaks Blvd., Suite 200, Cary, NC 27513.
