ZEBULON - Anne Williams Riker, 89, died Tuesday, Oct. 12, 2010 at her home. Funeral service was Friday, Oct. 15, at Pilot Baptist Church, Zebulon, with Pastor Mick Bowen officiating. Burial was in the Williams family cemetery, Clyde Pearce Road, Zebulon.

She was born in Franklin County in the Pilot Community to the late Sonnie Floyd Williams and Ona Alice Bunn Williams. She graduated in 1939 from Bunn High School and was married to the late William H. Riker, Sr.,  She worked with the N. C. Department of Agriculture. 

Surviving: daughter, Candace Riker Martindale (Jeffrey) of Wendell; son, William Howard “Billy” Riker, Jr. of Bunn; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her son, Terry “Pete” Bagwell; one grandson; brothers, Forrest, Max-Paul, Stacey, Burdon, Duane; and sister, Foye Garvey.
