YOUNGSVILLE —Perry E. “Pete” Grissom, 66, died Tuesday, Oct. 12, 2010. Funeral services were held Friday afternoon, Oct. 15, at Neuse Baptist Church on Gresham Lake Road in Raleigh. Burial followed in the Bethel Freewill Baptist Church cemetery in Four Oaks.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Elizabeth Grissom; brother, George Grissom; a daughter, Tela Grissom Collins.

He was a member of Neuse Baptist Church for 46 years.

Surviving: wife, Judith Stanley Grissom; son, Terry Grissom (Marie) of Smithfield; sister, Sarah Martin (James) of Raleigh; brother, Jerry Grissom (Linda) of Four Oaks; one grandson;  one step-granddaughter; many nieces and nephews.
