LOUISBURG - Funeral services for Walter Pettiford, 95, who died Monday, Oct. 18, 2010, will be held Friday, Oct. 22, at 1 p.m. at St. Paul Presbyterian Church, with the Rev. Walter Pettiford officiating. Burial will follow in the Cemetery on the Hill.

Surviving: daughters, Linda Marks of Brooklyn, N.Y., Annie Mae Porter of Brentwood Long Island, N.Y., Geraldine Manley of Louisburg; sons, Jimmy Pettiford of Raleigh and the Rev. Walter Pettiford of Barterville, Okla.

Wake services will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 21, at Richardson Funeral Home in Louisburg.
