ZEBULON - Joel MacRay Creech, 49, died Friday evening, Sept. 29, 2006 at his home. Funeral services were conducted Monday, Oct. 2, at Friendship FWB Church, with burial in the church cemetery.

He was a computer operator with Gregory Poole Equipment Co. in Raleigh. He was preceded in death by his father, Thelbert Ray Creech.

Surviving: his wife, Susan Covington Creech; sons, Brian M. Creech of Durham, Patrick W. Creech of Greenville, and Michael D. Creech of the home; mother, Mamie Wilder Creech of Zebulon; sister, Hedy Creech of Bunn Lake, brothers, Randy Creech (Joyce) of Zebulon and Doug Creech of Zebulon.
