LOUISBURG – Lurlyne Fuller Strickland died Monday afternoon, November 29, 2010 at her home.  She was born in Franklin County, daughter of the late Ballard J. and Mabel Gilliam Fuller.  Mrs. Strickland was a retired seamstress.

A graveside memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Thursday at Flat Rock Baptist Church Cemetery.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Judy S. and Harold Smith; grandson, Cale Smith and wife Amy; and great-grandson, Waylon S. Smith, all of Henderson; sister, Margie Fuller of Wendell.

Mrs. Strickland requested no flowers, and memorials be made to Flat Rock Baptist Church, 1529 Flat Rock Church Rd., Louisburg, NC 27549.
