CASTALIA - Funeral services for Lucy Hedgepeth Coppedge, 76, who died Monday, Dec. 20, 2010, will be held Friday, Dec. 24, at 11 a.m. at Philadelphia Baptist Church, with the Rev. Paul Davis officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Surviving: husband, Raymond H. Coppedge of the home; daughter, Patricia Coppedge of Garysburg; sons, Stanley Lewis Coppedge Sr. and Joie Coppedge, both of Newport News, Va.; sisters, Gloria Branch, Mary Ruth Blount and Edith Bullock, all of Rocky Mount, Jean Kingsberry of Castalia, Edna Parker of Nashville and Minnie “Bay” Perry of Paterson, N.J.; brothers, the Rev. Willie Hedgepeth of Greenville and Johnnie Mac Hedgepeth of Castalia; eight grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

Wake services will be frm 7 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 23, at Richardson Funeral Home in Nashville.
